Robert K Crane:
Robert K Crane & wife Jessie H Crane 1930 Census. They moved from Bronx (1925 state Census) In 1933, Crane married Alice Clark who lived a few doors down at #7 Elliott. He was 53 and Alice was 23, See The Hour article — “this was his third marriage.”
1935 directory: Alice (28 year-old) living in Fairfield with mother Lulu (L. Jewell) Clark (59) and Alice’s 11 year-old daughter, Deborah Taylor

Charlie & Mary Mace: 1940 Census
Sons Frank and Charles. Kim remembers that Maces gave out salted pumpkin seeds for Halloween. Mary Mace still living there at the end of 1960 (per The Hour notice)

Husband Pete died in 1960s; Angie stayed, worked at Shore & Country
Angie & Pete Scombul had luncheonette in South Norwalk. Kids: Maria and George. Scombuls made chocolate downstairs.
Pete died in 1960s. Angie was widowed for some time, worked at club.
Daughter, Maria, married John Mola, and lived on Norman Avenue.

Jack and Emma Ollerenshaw: He died in early 1960s. Used to have a fig tree. Kim’s dad helped cover it for cold weather. Emma lived to an old age. #5 1/2 in 1930 census 1950s directories

Clinton C & Marion Holcomb: 1952 - ?
Clinton W & Mildred Holcomb: 1930s - 1952. 1940 Census. Clint C, Cliff and Ben grew up here. Clint C stayed in parent’s home when he got married. (They moved.)
Cliff and Ben lived elsewhere in Marvin Beach. Kim and brother are children of Clint C; grandkids of early owners.
Anna Stenger: 1930 Census listed at #6 with son and boarder; should be #8

David & Joy Sinise since early 70s. Joy passed away in 2017 They raised 5 boys.
Mike & Cornelia (Kenny) Buonos, ? - 1960s
Kids: Steven, Timmy (Kim Holcomb used to babysit him and Carla). Steve Buonos was at 4th of July reunion in ~2018. Sold to Sinises and moved to house near Calf Pasture in early ‘70s.
Bob & Mary O’Shaughnessy: Worked at Vanderbilt. Kathy, Tommy, Maureen, Margot a few years, when Kim was Jr high. 7-8-9,, Bob Shaughnessy got styrofoam from Vanderbilt for Kim’s Eiffel Tower in 7th grade. Went to Kiddytown, got a can of enamel paint to spray, melted on Ellen Sculley. Shaughnessy moved from MB around ’65 and 66.
1960s Lengyels rented to Bill and Mary Sheets from Kansas; Bill worked at 7Up bottling; girls Kathy and Susie. They lived there a year or two when Kim was about 6. She remembers unlimited supplies of 7Up for neighbor kids.

Charlie and Ann Parks: Lived here when Kim’s grandparents were across street.
2 children: Bobby and Ann. Bob killed in WW2. Woman who lived at #8 before Linda found letter from Bob Parks to Cliff Holcomb. Both in Navy. Bob was on a ship that went down. It was rescued, but rescue ship got hit, Bob was lost. Ann was only one of family left. Went to California; sometimes comes back to visit. Charlie is member of country club. Worked in NYC. Ann went to country club; tennis player. (per ‘50s and ‘60s directories)

Jim & Geri Hollyday: August 1996; two children; moved to 11 Roland Ave.
Henry (Hank) & Karin Foley: 1980s. Both were chemists. Hank is now a president of NY Institute of Tech.
John E and Lynn Carlson: bought and renovated house in 1980-1981 approx. Never occupied house.
Hermes & Corinne Porrier: Older couple when Kim lived here. French Canadian. Veteran of WW2 battle in France; active in veteran groups. (per 1950 and 60s directories)
